Warranty & Care
Last updated: pending — not yet finalized
Made properly, fine jewellery should last. Every Aurea piece is inspected before it ships, and backed by our warranty — with a little care from you, it's made to be worn for years.
Our warranty
We stand behind our jewellery. Manufacturing defects are covered for as long as you own your piece. Any other warranty claim should be raised within 2 months of receiving your piece.
If at any point you believe your piece has a manufacturing defect, you may return it to us for inspection. If we determine it has failed due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair it at no cost to you. If we cannot repair it for any reason, we reserve the option to replace it with a similar item or issue a merchandise credit, at our discretion. If we determine the damage was not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will let you know, and whether a repair is available to you at your cost.
What this warranty does not cover
Lost, chipped, or damaged diamonds or gemstones.
Damage caused by misuse or abuse; normal wear and tear; and/or exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, or other environmental factors.
Loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance.
Damage caused by failure to perform reasonable maintenance to keep the jewellery in a usable and wearable condition, or as set out in the care instructions.
Variations in materials, colour, and other natural characteristics.
Third-party work
Having a piece resized elsewhere does not affect your warranty. A repair carried out by a third-party jeweller, however, voids it.
Repairs outside the warranty
We don't offer general repairs or servicing. Where an issue falls outside this warranty, we'll let you know whether a repair is possible at your cost.
How to make a claim
Reach us directly at contact@aurea-jewellery.co with your order details and a photo of the issue. We'll assess it and let you know the next step.
Everyday wear
Your diamonds and gemstones are hard-wearing, but settings and metals appreciate a little thought. Put your jewellery on last — after fragrance, lotion, and hairspray — and take it off before swimming, cleaning, or the gym.
Cleaning
Warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft brush is all most pieces need. Rinse, and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Skip harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and abrasive cloths.
Storing
Keep each piece separately — a soft pouch or a lined box — so pieces don't scratch one another. Store somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight.
When to bring it to us
If a stone feels loose or a clasp sticks, don't force it — reach us directly and we'll advise on the best next step.
